Abstract
This presentation will review wastewater treatment considerations, accounting for varying hydraulic flows, organic loads, and other related considerations.  The impact of these critical variables on wastewater treatment systems will be analyzed through design examples and case studies.  Onsite wastewater treatment system component designs considered in this presentation include the septic tank, pump tank, treatment tank, and drainfield.  Innovative and specific solutions to potentially challenging site conditions will be discussed.  

 

Speaker Biography

Ashley Donnelly, Technical Training and Sales Development Manager

Ashley has a passion for building relationships within the onsite wastewater treatment industry through training and technical education. Ashley entered the onsite wastewater industry over 19 years ago and is committed to the industry and public health. She has a passion for preserving the environment through sound wastewater treatment solutions. In her position at Infiltrator, she leads the Inside Sales Team and is responsible for maintaining and building customer relationships by assisting engineers, contractors and regulators with technical and design information, training, installation, and operation & maintenance of their onsite wastewater needs. In 2020, she launched IWT’s webinar program, which is currently accredited in over 10 states and to date has trained over 2,000 attendees on various contemporary industry topics. She serves on various committees within the industry (AzOWRA, TOWA and NOWRA Emerging Professionals). Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Central Connecticut State University.

Jon Kaiser, Project Engineer

Jonathan Kaiser Jon joined Infiltrator Water Technologies in 2016 as a Project Engineer after graduating with his B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont. He is currently a project manager and spends his time at Infiltrator working on research and development initiatives and new product development. Jon also serves as the Chair of the National Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association (NOWRA) Emerging Professionals Committee. He is also a presenter and published author on many industry-related topics.
