ATLANTA (July 31, 2019) — Infiltrator Water Technologies, a manufacturer of decentralized wastewater treatment technology, continues to partner with Habitat for Humanity with the donation of septic systems and training to assist in the nonprofit housing organization’s efforts to create a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to live.
“We are grateful for the partnership with Infiltrator,” said Lynda Smith, senior director of Corporate Relations for Habitat for Humanity International. “Safe water and sanitation are very important for healthy homes, and the donation of wastewater products and training help us meet this critical need while also helping to keep the houses affordable.”
In 2017, Infiltrator partnered with Habitat for Humanity to provide septic systems annually for Habitat homes throughout the United States. Since then, Infiltrator has donated more than 75 septic systems. Each donation includes a septic tank and drainfield product from Infiltrator’s full line of on-site wastewater products. In addition to donated product, Infiltrator provides local Habitat staff with education around permitting and ongoing maintenance of septic systems.
